Join us as we come together to celebrate cherished memories of our loved ones!
This year, we're thrilled to present:
- Live performances by local talent, including Neiya Arts, Ballet Flor de Mayo, Grupo La Rosa, Folklor América, Poco Pocho, and various Latinx student groups
- A colorful display of community altars
- Latinx popup market featuring a diverse selection of crafts, arts, and treats carefully curated by Molcajete Dominguero
- Family and pet-friendly activities, arts and crafts, face-painting
- Enchanting La Catrina public art sculptures, up to 14 feet tall, by Los Angeles-based artist Ricardo Soltero
P.S. Don't miss the grand unveiling of Soltero's Alebrije (Mexican folk art) sculpture, an adorable Chihuahua named Pauli (click here for a sneak peek)! On view October 26- 29, 10am-9pm.
Other things to know:
- No advance registration is required and all ages are welcome
- Dogs are welcome
- Public restrooms are available in nearby Parking Structure 4
- Third Street Promenade is easily accessible via public transportation, only a few blocks from the Downtown Santa Monica Metro stop
- There is plenty of parking in the public parking structures in the area. You can view a map of the parking structures here
