After a life-changing event shatters a young woman's world, she must examine how her past experiences have shaped her views on sex, sexuality and relationships. Told through narration, flashbacks and the personification of human emotions such as Shame, Truth and Denial, Shattered takes a hilarious and unapologetic look at intimacy, family abuse cycles and the psychological fallout of sexual assault. It is one individual's journey to pick up the broken pieces of herself and put them back together again - Diana Varco's one-woman show told through the voices of 35 characters. Directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson. Diana Varco is an actor, writer, and storyteller living in Los Angeles. She regularly performs on the sketch team The Color Collective at the Complex Theatre and is a founding member of Ladies' Night Fempire. She performed on the inaugural round of Mess Hall teams at UCB and co-created and co-produced the improv based web-series Riding Buddies with Carolyn Jania. Jessica Lynn Johnson, is a published playwright, recipient of BEST NATIONAL SOLO ARTIST AWARD, Board member of the LA Women's Theatre Festival and Founder & CEO of Soaring Solo Theatre Company LLC. Over the years, Jessica's solo shows have received numerous accolades at The Hollywood Fringe Festival including TOP OF FRINGE and ENCORE PRODUCER AWARDS! Shattered is a FREE BFF Binge Fringe Festival of FREE Theatre ENCORE production.
